TREATMENT RESOURCES AND INDIVIDUALIZED LIVING SUPPORTS (T.R.A.I.L.S.) |
At New Directions, we offer services that contribute to the well being of children, youth, adults, families and their community. T.R.A.I.L.S. is one of the many programs offered by New Directions for Children, Youth, Adults, and Families. T.R.A.I.L.S. is now accepting applications for Casual Client Specific Workers to work with adolescent children aged 5-17, whom have a variety of challenges in their lives. Successful applicants should have experience working with youth in the community, be nurturing, and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. First Aid, C.P.R., and N.V.C.I. certification are required. Knowledge of the L.G.B.T.T. and/or the aboriginal community would be considered an asset. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to; establishing a positive relationship with youth, engaging in recreational activities, participating in meetings, implementing treatment plans developed by Clinical Case Managers or Supervisor. Must be able to work evenings and weekends. Salary range is $11.92/hour - $13.17/hour, depending on experience and education. The successful applicant will be subject to Criminal Record, Child Abuse Registry, and Prior Contact Checks. |
