The E.P.C. program provides residential services to individuals with disabilities. We supervise small community residences and specialized living situations. We also provide support and respite services to individuals who live in their family home.
Foster Home Placements (F.H.) Family Support Service (F.S.S.) Specialized Independent Placements (S.I.P.)
To promote and facilitate community-based living situations for individuals who require extra support.
Our service approach is to provide supports to assist individuals in achieving and maintaining independence, safety, and stability in the community. We develop person-centered plans and resources in consultation with the individual, referring agencies, family members, and school or day program personnel. We strive to empower individuals to make decisions for themselves using their support networks.
Individuals can be referred for service by a Child and Family Services agency, one of the regional offices of Manitoba Family Services (Community Living Program, Special Needs Program, or Children's Special Services), or by Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (W.R.H.A.) Community Mental Health Services. Referral packages can be sent to the attention of the Program Manager. Please include recent social, medical, family, and school/vocational information, plus a covering letter outlining the request for service.
Individuals must be eligible for appropriate levels of funding.
